Rags to Riches... Then Back to Rags.
To say that Britney's friends don't accurately reflect her own sad reality back to her is a HUGE understatement. I keep seeing Britney with this woman - I would love someone to clarify who she is - and she is the very epitome of a "yes man"... woman.. uh.. person... so maybe not the epitome then, but Britney is surrounded by (read: surrounds herself with) people who do not tell it like it is to her face. And so "Britney Watch 2007" continues with Britney looking like she goes dumpster diving on the weekends... and weekdays.Detox Diet Dangers - By Susan Moores, R.D.

"Popular detox diets promise to flush poisons from your body, purge pounds of excess fat, clear your complexion and bolster your immune system.
But experts say there's little evidence that extreme regimens such as the Master Cleanse or Fruit Flush do anything more than lead to unpleasant, unhealthy side effects.
Still, these super-restrictive eating plans are hotter than ever, thanks to being linked to lanky celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. Beyonce Knowles attributed her 20-pound weight loss for the movie "Dreamgirls" to the Master Cleanse — a starvation diet whose adherents swallow nothing but a concoction of lemon juice mixed with maple syrup, water and cayenne pepper, as well as salt water and a laxative tea for 10 days.
The idea of detoxifying or purifying the body of harmful substances has been around for centuries and cycles back into popularity now and again. There are no hard numbers on how many people have tried the latest fashionable plans, much less stuck with them, but dozens of new do-it-yourself fasting books are glutting bookstore shelves.
That's what has nutrition experts sounding the alarm over possible risks from lengthy or repeated fasts. Vitamin deficiencies, muscle breakdown and blood-sugar problems — not to mention frequent liquid bowel movements — are some of the seriously unpleasant drawbacks to these plans, which are skimpy on solid foods and often call for laxatives."

Kate Donates Libel Win To Eating Disorder Charity

The Hollywood star has given about £3,000 of her libel damages to Norfolk-based Beat.
Winslet had taken High Court action against Grazia magazine over claims she had visited a diet doctor. She was awarded an undisclosed sum in damages in March.
Mary George, of Beat, said: "Kate said at the time that she would donate her winnings to an eating disorder charity and that is what she has done.
"I think she was inundated by charities asking for help.
"We were informed last week the money would be split between three eating disorder charities and we were thrilled to be one of them."
Winslet is very outspoken against the pressures on young women to diet.
Ms George said: "She is a very good role model and this is a very thoughtful way of highlighting the issue."
Beat, formerly known as the Eating Disorders Association, offers support to people with dieting problems.
Tyra Works It Out
Tyra Banks has reportedly joined a boxing gym to keep in shape.Martin Snow, the owner of Trinity Boxing Club is Tyra's trainer. Snow says he and Tyra don't follow routine and use high-tech equipment.
"No, I really stay away from doing anything you would find in a health club routine. We're very low frills. If you can plug it in, we probably don't use it. And if it was invented after 1950, we don't use it. It's very effective. You don't need expensive equipment or high tech stuff. Just hard work," he told US Weekly.
"She comes in around three times a week now. And each time it's different. We will take these old tractor tires and she will swing sledgehammers. We do bags filled with sand. And of course the boxing," he said."I have a boxing gym so I basically do the moves with her that a fighter would do. She tends to get bored just doing conventional stuff. She has an athletic body, so I just try to bring it out. She responds very well to exercise. I do old-man Charles Atlas workouts. Stuff that old-time fighters used to do to get in shape," he added.
Snow says he has Banks do drills in the park as Banks doesn't hesitate about getting her image spoiled in public and he is really happy with the efforts the model takes."Around and hour to an hour and half. She is not afraid to get dirty. She is not afraid to go to the park and have people look at her like she's crazy. She is not worried about image," he said."She is fantastic. She is very driven and works hard and is super nice. If someone is really enthusiastic, that charges up the trainer. I have to motivate someone, but then I get motivated again," he added.
Not worried about her image? Earlier in the year Tyra's Australian holiday bikini photos caused a stir, with almost every pap and media outlet calling her fat. Tyra later opened a can of whoopass on air by coming out on stage in the bikini she was snapped in and delivering a passionate and tearful "kiss my fat ass" to the camera.
It would be hard NOT to be concerned about one's image under that scrutiny.
